Building Apprenticeships in Wayne County- Community Resources

DESCRIPTION

During this informational event we will have experts from the Department of Labor along with organizations from across Wayne County speaking directly to employers in the community on the hows and whys of apprenticeships. Information includes:

  • The benefits of apprenticeships
  • Free resources for building apprenticeships
  • Top tips and tricks to maintaining a successful apprenticeship program
  • How to recruit new apprentices to your program
  • Opportunity to network with other employers to build cooperative apprenticeships

Businesses of any size can create an apprenticeship program! Come learn how from the best in Wayne County!

This event will be held at the Eastern Michigan University Livonia Campus, in room 410/411. Attendees should enter off Six Mile Rd., and take the driveway toward the circle drive, then stay right and park in that area. When they enter the building, the elevators are straight ahead & slightly to the left. Take the elevator to the 4th floor.
